πβ¨ Thoughts on perfection and life β¨
You know that thing when you're young, when you're gung-ho and bulletproof, and everything you've ever dreamed of is absolutely going to come true? πβ¨
Life is going to be straightforward and perfectly wonderful. Obviously. ππ
Then, after a few twists and turns, you realise life isn't a straight road at all. π£οΈ You're going to have to take a few detours, change direction, and occasionally make it up as you go along. ππ¨π§
I learned some time ago that there's really no such thing as perfection in many aspects of the lives we lead. π€·ββοΈ
These days, I mostly surrender to the ride π’ and thank my lucky stars for what I have. ππβ€οΈ
But something happened recently. π±
A plant I've been trying to keep alive for YEARS finally flowered. πΏπΈ And it is a perfect shade of violet. ππͺ»π
Seeing it bloom gives me such an extraordinary amount of joy that I think I've just realised something. π₯Ήβ¨
Perfection is everywhere. It's just fleeting. You can't hold on to it, because everything keeps changing. πΈπ¦
One day everything feels easy βοΈ, and the next you're convinced the world is conspiring against you . βοΈβπ
π’ So when I stumble across one of those perfect little moments, I'm going to stop, notice it, enjoy it, and let it recharge my batteries. ππβ¨
Maybe that's what living your best life is really about. Not getting everything perfect, but recognising perfection when it shows up. π»π«β€οΈ
Perfection exists momentarily. Catch it when you can. ππΈβ¨ What is your idea of a perfect moment?
That is it. That is the post. ππ·β€οΈ #nofilter #violet #flowers
