For my next project, all the creative elements will come from real things. 🫖🌿 I'll enlist (and pay) talented designers to create the collateral, and as I formulate the ideas for the briefs, something curious always seems to happen...
Whenever I need an object to photograph 📸, or an idea 💡, it somehow just appears. Coincidence? Serendipity? Magic? I don't know... but I've learned to trust it. ✨
Here's one of those little stories...
I found a beautiful old bell jar in a second-hand shop in Kaiwaka. 🤍 It didn't have a base, but I loved its look and had a feeling something would come along. Plus, it gave me an idea...
There are clear themes emerging in this project, and the people working with me will understand why this made me smile today. 😊 Imagine my delight when I unwrapped an old teapot from storage that had belonged to my Nana... and discovered that the side plate fitted the bell jar perfectly. 🫖✨ It was as though they had always belonged together.
It feels like I have a few things... or perhaps a few grandparents... on my side, blowing me creative kisses. 💋💛✨
More will be revealed... 😉 But I thought I'd share this little step along the way. 🌿💫
